Privacy Policy
The Red Lighthouse is published by Wakefield Market Solutions LLC, an Arizona company. We run no ads on this site and we do not sell your information to anyone. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you become a paying member, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. Our publishing platform, Ghost, records basic first-party analytics such as which articles are read and, for members, signup attribution (for example, which Lightkeeper link brought you here). Comments you post are stored with your member profile.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. If you arrived from one of our advertisements, advertising platforms such as Meta may set cookies or receive standard event signals (for example, that a signup happened) so we can measure whether our ads work. We do not run third party advertising on this site itself.
We send the newsletters you sign up for and nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We do not share our list with anyone.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data entirely. Reply to any email from The Red Lighthouse and the request reaches the publisher directly. We honor these requests for all readers, not only where the law requires it.
Children
This publication is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we will note it here and, for significant changes, in the newsletter. This version is dated July 26, 2026.
